Analyzer mode in IRT Cronista provides tools for detailed temperature measurement, image comparison, and presentation of thermographic findings.
How Analyzer differs from Organizer
Organizer mode focuses on managing images: browsing files and folders, linking infrared and visual images, and preparing image information for reports. Analyzer mode focuses on examining image content: measuring temperatures at specific locations, studying temperature patterns, and comparing results.
Many functions are available in both modes, including image properties, notations, and comments. The Temperature scale window also works the same way in both modes.
Analysis capabilities
§Temperature measurements. Read temperatures at individual points, obtain minimum, maximum, and average values along lines or within areas, and calculate differences between measurements.
§Temperature patterns. Examine profiles along lines and histograms of temperature distributions within areas.
§Image comparison. Examine one image in detail or compare several images side by side. See Single- and multi-image analysis.
§Changes over time. Trends show how corresponding measurements change across images from the same folder and can provide estimates of future temperature values.
§Areas of interest. Automatically locate the hottest and coldest spots. Dew point analysis highlights areas where condensation may occur.
§Visual context. Infrared and visual image fusion combines linked images to relate temperature patterns to visible features.
Temperature-calculation parameters, such as emissivity and reflected temperature, can apply to an entire image or an individual measurement object. This allows analysis of regions with different surface properties or conditions. See Measurement parameters.
Presenting results
Measurement labels, notes, and arrows help explain findings on the image. Reports can include infrared and visual images, measurement values, graphs, notations, and comments. Images and graphs can also be copied into other documents. See Reports in Microsoft Word.
