In IRT Cronista, use single-image analysis to concentrate on one infrared image. Use multi-image analysis to compare images from the current folder while keeping them visible in the same analysis area.
Single-image analysis
Single-image analysis gives the focused image the available analysis area, making it suitable for detailed measurement and editing. When an image stack is focused, its grouped images remain visible together.
Multi-image analysis
Multi-image analysis arranges infrared images from the current folder in a scrollable grid. Use it to compare temperature patterns, measurement values, and changes between images.
The grid follows the folder's current sort order. The number of images visible at one time depends on the zoom level and available workspace. A lower zoom displays more images; use the scroll bars or mouse wheel to reach the remaining images. See Zooming images.
Switch analysis modes
Select View > Multi-Image Analysis or click the Multi-Image Analysis button 
on the analysis toolbar. Select the command or button again to return to single-image analysis.
You can also choose single- or multi-image analysis and configure the automatic zoom and number of columns in Adjusting the analysis view.
Work with images in the grid
Click an image in the analysis area to give it focus. The Properties and Notations windows and the graphs area then display information for that image or its active measurement object.
Important: Adding, editing, copying, or deleting measurement objects affects only the focused image. Displaying several images does not select them or apply these changes to all of them. To add objects to another image, give that image focus first. |
Compare image colors
To compare images by color, all images must use the same palette and identical temperature range limits. Select Same Range, choose Custom, and specify the shared upper and lower limits. Then select Same Palette and, if contrast-enhancement options are available, select No contrast enhancement. Do not use Auto or Preset for color comparison because they can produce different range limits for individual images. With these settings, a given color represents the same temperature in every image. See Same Range and Same Palette options.
